CPUs are built in such a way that micro-transistors can be placed into a single computer chip worth billions. All calculations are performed with the help of the same transistors required to run the programs stored in the system's memory.

What is the difference between CPU and GPU

• The full name of the CPU is "Central Processing Unit" and the full name of GPU is "Graphics Processing Unit".

• The CPU is called the brain of the computer and the GPU is the soul of the computer.

• The CPU in a computer is a general proposed processor that performs all kinds of tasks, such as doing mathematical calculations in it or working in MS Word and Excel.  Watch movies or songs, browse the Internet and do some work on the CPU, but the GPU is a special proposed processor that handles only the graphics of your computer.

Adreno GPU

The Adreno GPU is built by a Qualcomm company and it only designs one processor for its Snapdragon.  We will not find its GPU in any other company's processor.  Qualcomm manufactures GPUs according to its processor range such as Snapdragon 200 to 400 Series, Adreno 200 to 300 Series Snapdragon 600 to 800 Series GPUs, it manufactures both Lower Performance and High Performance GPUs.

Mali GPU

Mali's GPU processor is built by ARM, which designs the architecture.  Mali ARM has a GPU that it has designed itself and by license it gives different companies to use their GPU mobiles in processors like Samsung.  And MediaTek company's processor uses Mali GPUs.  The ARM company has 21 designs and licenses Mali GPUs and they provide us with multi-core GPUs.  In Mali Ultra we get two types of GPUs - low power and high performance.  Which has T-624, T-760, T-860 GPU with high performance.

PowerVR GPU

The PowerVR GPU is built by the Imagination Technology Company.  PowerVR designs GPUs for both mobiles and computers.  They bring their new series every year.  PowerVR 5, 6, 7, GPU designs are made for mobiles which are used in Apple, Samsung, LG, Sony mobile phones, its processors are very fast and it designs GPUs as expected.
